This is my first formal attempt at a
serious blog!
I generally have a bad habit of not
finishing things; ideas, projects, games, (some!) books, stories and
the like. Sometimes I think a little bit of peer pressure would be
good if I seem to be slacking in a project. Most of the time peer
pressure doesn't work because I spent so many years ignoring it.
Doesn't stop me from feeling bad,
though.
The topics herein are going to be quite
general, whatever I seem to nag about or something that seems to nag
me. Hopefully through repetition and habit I'll find a target
audience and cater to them. Or perhaps say 'Fuck it!' and do whatever
I want. I'm trying different forms of discipline, to see what can
help me stay consistent and hardworking. Perhaps by telling the
handful of people who may come across this initially, I'll be able to
feel bad about not providing them something of interest.
I've read so many awesome blogs out
there, but I do next to no networking, so I have nothing to show for
it. So hopefully as I come across other blogs that I like to follow,
I'll include them here, and get them some traffic. I'm hoping to one
day garner the enthusiasm that I've felt for their posts, so I'm
going to make this as interactive as possible, finding things to
write about, ask readers what I should research for them, etc.
(Normally I detest doing research for others, but I believe I should
have a personal challenge every few years!)
I've come to realize how anti-social I
feel most of the time and the severe impact it has on my networking,
so this blog should serve as a sort of reinforcement for me to get
going with something!
I want to engage others with mutual
interests, learn about even more people, and perhaps teach others a
thing or two, along the way! So, aside from sounding like a formal
letter almost worthy of a Japanese college student entering his
senior year, thanks for your time! I'll see you in a few days!
